The tax reductions on Personal Income Tax, Property Transfer taxes and Documented Legal Acts, to promote access to housing will benefit nearly half a million citizens with an estimated saving of 118.2 million euros per year.
According to a report by idealista, a personal income tax deduction of 1,000 euros will be established for owners who sign new rental contracts for homes that have been unused for at least one year, and join the rental market with contracts of more than 3 years. The beneficiaries will be the owners who have no more than five real estate properties. The savings would be 20 million euros and would reach 20,000 citizens.
Regarding mortgage loans for primary residences, a 25% bonus will be created on the difference established between the interests paid and those that would have been satisfied taking the Euribor of December 2022 as a reference, with a limit of 300 euros per year, as long as the loan is variable rate. It is estimated that this initiative will benefit around 450,000 taxpayers and will generate tax relief of around 90 million euros.
