The new resort will have the current facilities of the Hotel Poseidon Playa, but will be expanded with a new tower that will double the accommodation capacity that the establishment currently has. The company is expected to start construction work during the month of October with an eye to 2027 to open its doors.

The project will allow the number of rooms to almost double, reaching 600 in total, with 287 of them being newly constructed. The chain's calculations put the investment at 40 million euros for the project, according to a report by Alicante Plaza.
