The Department of Health of the Community of Madrid has activated a warning to the population in anticipation of the arrival of an African air mass this Thursday that affects air quality in the region.

According to information provided by the Center for Energy, Environmental and Technological Research (CIEMAT), today dust concentrations at surface level between 10 and 20 micrograms/cubic meter could be recorded in the central area of ​​the Iberian Peninsula, due to an air masses of African origin.
