Tennis player Rafael Nadal is the latest to join the residential development market in Malaga together with the businessman Abel Matutes and the Marbella developer Sierra Blanca Estates, with the future development of two housing projects in Marbella and Estepona.
These two new branded residence projects in Malaga will be carried out through the real estate company Palya Invest, created by the athlete and the hotel entrepreneur of the Palladium Group, both from Mallorca.
According to the newspaper Cinco Días, an approximate investment of 200 million euros is expected, including the cost of the land and the construction works.
The real estate developer specialising in the luxury sector, Sierra Blanca Estates, will be in charge of executing and marketing these exclusive apartments, which will be developed in two privileged areas of Estepona and Marbella, as explained by the Marbella firm to this newspaper.
In Estepona, 40 apartments and six villas will be built, of "maximum quality" in the area of Los Llanos, on the beachfront. The surface area will cover more than 300,000 square metres, with the intention of creating a large luxury development.
The second project will be developed in Marbella, on a 50,000 square metre plot located in the Nagüeles area. The objective is to develop another 40 multi-family luxury homes focused on the concept of branded residences.
