"With this direct air connection between Seville and Istanbul, a historic demand from the sector is becoming a reality, which sees its expectations of connecting the West with the East through the capital of Turkey and its international hub, thus allowing people in Seville to fly directly both for leisure and business with this ancient capital."
She added: "the new air route between Seville and Istanbul will begin to operate on September 24 through the Turkish company Pegasus Airlines to the Sabiha Gökçen international airport with a frequency of three times a week, specifically on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays."
Angie Moreno declared that "Seville City Council has been working for months to make this direct connection, which will become a reality starting next month, as it is a historic demand of the sector and in order to reach this agreement it has worked hand in hand with the Tourism Department of the Junta de Andalucía".
