The Andalusian company Ly Company Group-Aqualy has just launched an artistic bottle to store water (and save it). It has the particularity that it is also sustainable. But it has an even greater uniqueness. The company in question has designed the same container for the capital of Biscay and the capital of San Sebastian.
Only the name of the cities and the building printed on the container have changed. With the addition of Bilbao and San Sebastian, there are now more than 20 European cities represented on their packaging, which Makro began distributing this summer. The promoters assure that they will help quench the thirst of tourists and reduce CO2 emissions with their plant-based packaging. They will also help reduce the use of plastic.
The latest ones have just gone on sale in Madrid, Mallorca, Pamplona, Valencia and Zaragoza. “With our Carton City line of packaging, we aim to offer residents and tourists a unique experience by combining premium quality water with packaging made from renewable raw materials and decorated with illustrations of iconic monuments and special places.”
The ultimate goal of Carton City, according to the company, is to develop a sustainable alternative to conventional bottled water “while offering the opportunity to explore, admire and connect with these places in a completely new way. In addition to hydrating themselves with water, consumers can collect or keep as a souvenir the bottle of the city in which they live or are visiting," Curro Rodríguez, founder and CEO of Ly Company Group-Aqualy, explained to EL CORREO.
These personalised bottles were initially launched in Malaga, Seville, Barcelona and Santiago de Compostela.
