Throughout 9 and 10 May, much of Spain will experience at heatwave according to the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) and Meteored.
AEMET predicts maximum temperatures of around or above 30 degrees and also a rise in the minimum temperatures.
Meteored details that the anticyclone will dominate during Thursday, with temperatures following an "upward trend" taking maximums to around 30 degrees "over a wide area of territory."
Friday will be "the warmest day of the week” and maximum temperatures "will slightly exceed" 30ºC in several areas, especially in the interior of the extreme south of the peninsula.
