Of the 17 alerts, nine will be for low temperatures in Huesca, Cordillera and Picos de Europa, Liébana, Burgos, Castilla y León, Lleida, Pirineius de Navara and La Rioja. Under rain and thunderstorm warnings will be Cádiz, Malaga, all of the Balearic Islands, Barcelona, Girona, Tarragona, Alicante and Valencia. The snow leaves Barcelona and Girona on alert.
Aemet also indicates that they will blow "moderate winds from the north and northeast" on the peninsular Mediterranean coasts and "light winds from the east" on the rest of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, with "more intense intervals on the coasts".
At the same time, a "light northerly wind" is forecast in the Canary Islands.
Spain's meteorological services even issued an orange warning (the second most serious) for several regions of the Valencian Community, due to a new DANA, but there was no serious damage.
