“Real Madrid and Liverpool have reached an agreement for the signing of Trent Alexander-Arnold, who will be tied to our club for the next six seasons, from 1 June 2025 to 30 June 2031,” reads a statement.

“Liverpool can confirm that it has accepted an offer from Real Madrid for Trent Alexander-Arnold to transfer at the opening of the June transfer window. The full-back can now join the Spanish La Liga club before the end of his contract with the Reds in the summer,” the English club said.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, who made his first-team debut in October 2016, explained that he has never known anything other than Liverpool and that his decision is related to his desire to “try a new challenge” that will force him out of his “comfort zone.”
