Seven years of procedures have had to pass before the project to build a shopping center on a plot located at the eastern end of the row of houses that, parallel to the Guadalmar highway, faces the Plaza Mayor shopping and leisure center. According to Sur, the plan has received final approval from the City Council in this month's plenary Urban Planning commission, so its promoters can now obtain building permits for its construction.

This commercial area is mainly promoted by the company Verificación Técnica de Obras, which absorbed the initial promoter, Inmuebles Playmont, and has technical advice from the studio of architect Ángel Asenjo. The urban planning operation covers a total of 9,872 square meters of surface, although this amount includes a strip of green area of 3,537 square meters, located to the south of the road that surrounds the homes, the Golf Course road.

The future shopping center, designed by Ángel Asenjo's studio, will have a ground floor height plus one (nine meters in total), and will cover a constructed area of 3,366 square meters. In addition, it will have 21 surface parking spaces and 127 in the basement.
