The councillor highlighted after the Local Government Board meeting, where the permit was given the green light, that “just over a hundred licences” - including those for minor works - were carried out, representing a value of 18 million.
Romero has highlighted the license granted to develop “the project for legalization of volumes, demolition and basic project and execution of comprehensive reform” of the 4-star Meliá Banús hotel, with an investment value of 8,258,000 euros.
The municipal spokesman emphasised that this type of project represents “proof of the level of excellence achieved in Marbella, the fact that 4-star hotels are now 5-star hotels,” which “keeps investment in the hotel sector attractive.”
