In the first half of this year, the hotels in the province have received a total of 106,413 visitors, a figure that represents 11,930 more people than in the first half of 2023.

Overnight stays have also increased by 12% this 2024, reaching 614,464 hotel nights. In addition, the average stay of Germans in hotels in Cadiz during the first half of the year ranged between 5 and 7 days, approximately.

As explained by the fourth vice-president of the Provincial Council of Cadiz and deputy responsible for Tourism, Germán Beardo, "Germany is the leading foreign country sending tourists to the province of Cadiz. Last year, practically one in four international tourists staying in hotels in the province came from Germany. In 2023 and following this parameter, German visitors doubled the number of foreign tourists – the second largest international market for the province – who stayed overnight in hotel accommodation in Cadiz: in this case, those from the United Kingdom".

It should also be noted that Germany has direct flights to Jerez airport, both in the summer season and during the winter. This August, for example, there are three companies with connections between Frankfurt and Jerez: TUI fly, Condor and Discover.
