80 per cent of the luxury houses cost approximately three million euros, being 50,3 percent property of Spanish people. The other houses were bought by foreigner buyers. When it comes to flats and penthouses, 58 per cent were bought by Spanish people as well.
By neighbourhoods, in El Velerín, Estepona, premium single-family homes reach 7.5 million euros, while in Sierra Blanca, Marbella, they reach 5.9 million euros.4.95 million euros is the average price registered in La Quinta, in Benahavís, while 4.2 million euros is registered in La Dama de Noche-La Alfambra, in Marbella.
The most expensive flats are in Río Real, Marbella, costing on average 4.995 million euros. In both cases, the national demand reaches very high rates.
