Netflix has announced an investment of more than €1 billion in Spain for the period 2025-2028, with a special focus on its production centre in Tres Cantos (Madrid), in the heart of Madrid Content City. At these facilities, with 22,000 square metres, ten state-of-the-art studios and post-production laboratories, the company seeks to consolidate Spain as a European centre for audio-visual production.

This plan will not only give unprecedented focus to local infrastructure and productions, but will also boost demand for technical, creative and production professionals, promoting a direct effect on audio-visual training in Madrid.

In this scenario, The Core School, a school specialising in audio-visuals, also located in Madrid Content City, is taking advantage of this situation to position itself as a training benchmark. The school, located within the Netflix complex itself, has opted for an immersive and practical methodology: virtual and augmented reality, interactive chroma, driving simulation, sound studios and collaboration with major companies in the sector, such as Atresmedia, Secuoya and Banijay.
