Up to three media outlets have reported on the situation in the province of Seville regarding this public health issue.

Currently there is no level of emergency on the part of the competent authority that advises against travelling to Seville.

Both the British newspaper Daily Mail, the Daily Express, and the Euronews news channel have informed English tourists who plan to travel to Spain, and specifically to Seville, in an article about what is happening.

In the case of the digital edition of the Daily Mail newspaper, the media assures that "concern and fear are growing after the two deaths in Spain caused by the West Nile virus mosquito."

News channel Euronews has also reported on the matter since Seville added two new fatalities at the beginning of this week in the town of Coria del Río, a municipality that has three of the five deaths this summer due to this disease.
