The air company announced the cut of a million connection for the winter schedules, that start to be applied at the end of October and finished at the end of March, meaning that 36 routes will be eliminated, affecting connections to Spanish airports.

Santiago de Compostela will have one of the most affected airports, even though Ryanair was one of the leaders in terms of numbers of flights to the destination. There will be a cut of 80% of the flights to the city. This means that the company will no longer fly from Santiago to Alicante, Barcelona, Gran Canaria, Madrid, Malaga, Palma, and Zaragoza.

The other three airports where the low-cost airline is eliminating all flights are Tenerife North, which affects routes to Alicante, Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, and Valencia, says El Periódico.
