To attract professionals, many companies have resorted to additional incentives when offering employment, in addition to salary.

A notable example is a mental health center in Mondragón, in the Basque Country, Spain, which offers attractive conditions but has not yet managed to fill five vacancies, as “El Economista” reports.

This center is looking for “nursing profiles for a social health center and a mental health hospital”. The offer includes a contract with rotating shifts and a gross annual salary of 37,400 euros, complemented by bonuses that bring the total to 39,000 euros. Additionally, they offer free accommodation for six months.

Despite the tempting conditions, the center had to publish the advertisement for the second time. Only three requirements are required of candidates for this job offer:

Immediate availability

Valid work authorization

Proven qualification

The scarcity of candidates for these positions, even with an attractive remuneration package and the provision of accommodation, raises questions about the current difficulties in recruiting healthcare professionals.
